What is eMMC ISP?
eMMC ISP stands for embedded MultiMediaCard In-System Programming. It's a method used in electronics repair and data recovery to directly access the internal storage (eMMC) of a device without desoldering the chip.
eMMC is the internal storage used in many phones, tablets, smart TVs, etc.
ISP means you connect to the eMMC chip while it’s still soldered to the motherboard, using test points or exposed pins.
🧠 And what’s JTAG?
JTAG (Joint Test Action Group) is a standard (IEEE 1149.1) used mainly for debugging and programming microcontrollers, processors, and other chips. It's often used for:
Flashing firmware
